Hey monkiis,
I'm psyched to have my good friend Mason Gravley back on the show. Mason is the host on the Adventure Sports podcast and all-around Wildman. He has done epic adventures all over the country by bike and foot. He is also an extremely deep thinker and I really value his insights and perspectives. I think you will too.
Show notes:
-Misogi Interview with travel writer Aaron Millar.
-Mason interviews monkii Dan on the Adventure Sports podcast.
I'd also HIGHLY recommend Athletic Brewing Non-Alcoholic Beer. Mason is the Lead Adventurer for Athletic Brewing and also hosts another podcast for them. I was definitely skeptical of non-alcoholic beer until I tried Athletic Brewing. It's delicious.

See you out there and Live Wild or Die,
-monkii Dan

I can’t express enough how much finding all things monkii has helped me. I found monkii when I had hit a wall or maybe a crossroads with everything going on. Before COVID I had to workout daily, it was all that keep me going. When my gym shut down, I was lost. I did start home workouts and they were working but a few weeks in, like I said I hit a wall. I lost motivation and seriously thought about just stopping. My background is I didn’t get in shape, or even start taking my health seriously till I turned 40. In 2016 I was between 267-275, pre-diabetic, high blood pressure, and couldn’t do 5 pushups. Fast forward to now, I’m 210 and like I said in the best shape, mentally, and physically of my life. So when everything stopped and I got down I worried about falling back, but monkii literally appeared out of nowhere. I researched and became a super fan. I’m 16 days into the monkii habit and I have the pocket monkii, tactical monkii bars 2, 2 isocore balls, 2 tactical manuals, I listen to all the podcast, I started reading, eating better, and I write my own workouts nightly. I’m no longer at the wall, monkii help me climb that wall and now I’m in a whole new place in life. The latest podcast was so good because you guys talk about fearing the future and living in the now. I have found in the last few weeks I’ve been very happy because I’m living for the now, I only focus on the present, because we don’t know the future, so why bother stressing what you can’t control. Anyway I love everything monkii, you guys have provided me with inspiration to find my motivation. 1 last thing, yesterday I was listening to the latest episode and I was so motivated, I did a monkii workout, ran a mile with a 50lbs sandbag, then a mile without, then walked a mile with the bag again, all in the rain. I did all this because I just felt the monkii spirit. Thank you guys so much!
