Hey monkiis,

In this episode, I'd like to welcome the Colorado monkiis Julie and Brice Arnot. Julie was kind enough to send a note on December 8, 2020 that really helped me to reorient myself and remember the 'why' behind monkii. She wrote,

"Since May we have both lost about 30lbs. With monkii, yoga, boxing, running, walking and playing sports. We love having something at home to do our workouts! Thanks again for your great workouts and equipment. My hubby lost 30lbs and I have lost 38lbs and we're still going strong. Just wanted to thank you for helping us start our lifelong journey to health."

What struck me about Julie's note was that they were not just doing some crash diet or chasing the latest fad, but instead were making a conscious effort to change their lives and adopt a totally different lifestyle. It also wasn't just about losing the weight, but instead, they were focused on becoming healthier, fitter, and I would also add wilder.

I really enjoyed talking with them and getting to know them and I believe that there is a ton to learn from their journey. Maybe you take some ideas as use them as your own. Or, maybe you have a friend that needs some simple steps to just get started.
